We know that if you are at home there are many things you and your family can do to help! Here are a few fun suggestions:
Miles are miles, whether it’s out on the open road, or in your own lounge! Ask friends and family to sponsor you to cycle how ever many miles you think you can manage, either in a day or over a longer period.
Run a Marathon
The same applies to running, jogging or walking – if you have a treadmill then great, but others have put the steps in either in the garden or even going up and down stairs, so just put on your headphones and get in the zone!
Keen footballer in the family? Break your personal best over and over by being sponsored for the number of consecutive keepie ups you can do (show off!)
And for the more extreme among you...
We The great outdoors can mean that even the sky is not the limit! You can sponsor our charity with any of the following (if you are brave enough!):
Support hospitals throughout the UK whilst getting the ultimate adrenaline rush! There are lots of skydive centres all over Great Britain and this is a certain way to raise funds.
Again, there seems to be something about jumping from a great height that galvanizes friends and family to dig deep in their pockets!
A Very Long Walk
The UK has some incredible long distance challenges – through the Scottish Highlands, along our beautiful coastlines or cross country. The Pennine Way, Hadrian’s Wall and Offa’s Dyke are some of the favourites but of course you don’t have to do it here in the UK. Trek Machu Picchu, the Grand Canyon or the Amazon if you are up to it. We will be with you every step of the way (in spirit of course....!)
